It was the Americans who won the Presidents Cup. Again. But hats off to the Internationals for showing tremendous effort. The last day saw the Internationals bouncing towards a great performance, with seven of their players winning their singles match. But it wasn't enough. The Americans won 19 1/2 to 14 1/2. Kudos though to Mike Weir, the Canadian lefty, who gave Woods a memorable fight to the end in their singles match. Weir beat Woods at the 18th hole. It was a natural high for all Canadians that day. The pressure must've been so tremendous for Weir, who has the hopes of all Canadians riding on his shoulders. But he came out of it with like a champion that he is. And the Woods conceding and later hugging Weir, shows a great attitude from the World's Number One. Well done Woods. You are a great player and a great sportsman indeed.
